Jessica A. Sola received her Bachelor’s Degrees in both English and Psychology in 2004, graduating Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She then went on to receive her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in 2007 and was admitted to practice law in New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York in 2008, as well as the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in 2011.
Since her admission to practice law, Ms. Sola has focused on Family and Matrimonial Law, participating in all aspects of this area of the law, including custody/parenting time, child support, spousal support/maintenance, the equitable distribution of marital assets and liabilities, orders of protection, modifications of support and custody/parenting time, and contempt proceedings, including hearings and trials in both the Supreme and Family Courts. Ms. Sola also has successfully filed or defended numerous appeals in the Appellate Courts. Finally, Ms. Sola has practiced in the areas of Bankruptcy Law, Criminal Law, Real Estate Law, and Civil Litigation as well.
Ms. Sola has co-written two articles that have been published in the Nassau County Lawyer, and has been recognized as by Superlawyer as a Rising Star for the years 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2022.
